I've been thinking about doing this for a while. Not because the world needs another blog, but because I need a place to put things.
My mind doesn't stay in one lane. One week I'm deep in personal finance, reading everything I can about index funds and tax strategy. The next week I'm planning a trip, comparing cities, thinking about what it means to live somewhere new. Then it's sports, then music, then something about family that I can't stop turning over in my head.
For years, that all just stayed in my head. Or it would come out in a conversation, and then it was gone. I wanted something more permanent than that.
No single lane
The name of the game here is range. I'm not going to be a finance blogger or a travel blogger or a music blogger. I'm going to be all of those things, and none of them, depending on the day.
Some posts will be short. A few sentences, an observation, done. Others might run for a while. I'm not putting a word count on anything.
The best writing comes from people who are actually thinking about what they write about. Not performing it.
That's the standard I'm holding myself to. Every post on here is something I actually care about. No filler. No content for content's sake.
What to expect
If you stick around, you'll see posts about personal finance, sports takes, travel recommendations, thoughts on family and relationships, music I'm listening to, culture I'm paying attention to, and whatever else crosses my mind that feels worth writing down.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, subscribe. If not, no hard feelings. But I think you'll find something here that resonates.
Welcome to the blog.
